A: Yes! All of the tattoo artists tattooing here at Victorian Tattoo Waikiki use only the highest grade tattoo supplies from the best tattoo brands available on the market and they are all pre-sterilized. We have a very clean studio space which is monitored and inspected by the state of Hawaii's health and sanitation branch and we carry a tattoo shop permit issued by them.

Q: Do we need to make appointments?

A: We are happy to get you booked in for a tattoo in advance. Please come into the studio for a free consultation and we will go over your tattoo design ideas and options. After figuring out the number of people in your party, the styles and placements, and the dates and times you would like to get tattooed we can go ahead and block off the correct amount of time and have the time to create and draw beautiful custom tattoo designs that you'll love and cherish forever! :)

Q: How do I book my free consultation with Victorian Tattoo Waikiki?

A: You don't necessarily need to book a specific time for your free consultation. If we are not totally free when you come in, we can usually take a quick break to consult with you about your tattoo ideas and get you booked in if you would like.

Q: Do you take walk in tattoos?

A: Yes! We take walk in tattoos on a first come, first serve basis, with availability. We do recommend that you come in ahead of time for a free consultation and get booked in for anything customized or medium to large scale pieces if you are on a time constraint.

Q: Does Victorian Tattoo Waikiki open early and close late?

A: Yes! Victorian Tattoo Waikiki opens @9am and closes when we're done tattooing or 12 midnight whichever is later.

Q: Can I book a Walk-In Tattoo Appointment in Waikiki?

A: Yes! While there is no such thing as a "walk-in tattoo appointment," we do offer walk in tattoos for small bangers and simplistic tattoos, and we usually have enough artists available so you wouldn't have to wait too long. However if you would not want to have to wait, we will be happy to get you booked in for a later time on the same day.  ​

Q: How long will my tattoo take?

A: The time it will take to tattoo you is dependent on a few things. The size of the tattoo, the placement of the tattoo on your body, the saturation of the tattoo, the complexity of the tattoo, the skin type where the tattoo is going, the number of colors or shades of grey in your tattoo, the amount of detail and the time involved in drawing your tattoo. We won't rush your tattoo, however, we are all seasoned tattooers with decades of experience so we won't be guessing our way through your tattoo, taking unnecessary amounts of your valuable time, or putting you through any unnecessary discomfort.

Q: Does Victorian Tattoo Waikiki minors?

A: Yes! Most of the artists working with us will tattoo minors in limited areas of the body. In order to get tattooed as a minor the minor will need a photo ID. (school ID is ok) and their parent must be present with a valid government photo ID and both the minors and parents last names must match. If they do not match we will also require a birth certificate or marriage certificate tying the minor to the parent. If a minor comes in with a legal guardian, they must also bring the court ordered guardianship papers with them. All decisions to tattoo a minor will be made on a case by case basis after an in person consultation.

A: Yes our talented staff of experienced and exceptional tattoo artists take pride in creating one of a kind personal tattoos for each client. They'll be your new favorite tattoos!

Q: How much does a custom tattoo cost?

A: The cost of your tattoo will also depend on the size of the tattoo, the placement of the tattoo on your body, the saturation of the tattoo, the skin type where the tattoo is going, the number of colors or shades of grey in your tattoo, the amount of detail and the complexity of your tattoo. We can usually build a custom tattoo within a reasonable budget. And we offer group deals as well as military and   rates (bring your military or local government issued ID with you)

Q: Can I pay with  Cash?

A: Yes, please do! We have an ATM on site.

Q: What should I do before getting tattooed at Victorian Tattoo Waikiki ?

A: Make sure you are not coming on an empty stomach. Have something with sugar or carbs in it before hand and stay hydrated. There are plenty of eateries in Discovery Bay Center. Make sure you keep a high sunblock on minimally, the area where you plan on getting tattooed. Be sure to reapply as directed.

Q: What kind of bandage does Victorian Tattoo Waikiki use?

A: We use a variety of "second skin" type brands. Please advise your tattoo artist if you have any known or suspected allergies to adhesives.

Q: Does Victorian Tattoo Waikiki use Nitrile Gloves?

A: Yes! We only use Nitrile Gloves for your protection and ours. :)
